Emily McCort

Emily is a freelance dresser, stitcher, and educator in the Washington D.C. Area. She is often working backstage at regional theatres such as Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, and others. When not backstage, she can be found teaching sewing and fashion history as well as mentoring future costume designers at the high school level. Her interests include tea gowns, trying new foods, and antiquing.
